Our aim is to combat lockdown loneliness for the most vulnerable at home, in the UK, by going back to basics: no internet, no cameras, no faff! Dial in to dial out of daily coronavirus worries by connecting with someone: a self-registered, UK-based Chatter.
It’s simple: Chatters are normal people who nominate themselves to take part in this initiative for a good, old-fashion chinwag. Each caller will be directed to a switchboard. The switchboard connects them with a new Chatter when they next dial in. We hope that by enabling conversations, we can inspire meaningful connections between those who seek it.
Because a good natter can bring us closer than proximity can right now. And for many, it has never been more vital.
