Saving lives means we've got to stay home. But staying home isn’t always easy. Our aim is to combat lockdown loneliness for the most vulnerable at home, in the UK, by going back to basics: no internet, no cameras, no faff! We designed and developed a platform inviting anyone experiencing loneliness to get involve and dial in to dial out of daily coronavirus worries by connecting with another person: a self-registered, UK-based chatter.
“Chatters” are normal people who have joined our platform to pick up the phone for a good, old-fashion chinwag. Callers will be directed to a switchboard. The switchboard connects a caller with a new chatter anytime they dial-in. We hope that by enabling conversations, we can inspire meaningful connections between those who seek it.
